Cabbage Salad
Ingredients
- Cabbage – 1 small, shredded finely.
- Green gram – 1/4 cup, sprouted.
- Cucumber – 1, small cubes.
- Lemon – 1
- Grated fresh or frozen coconut – 1 Tbsp.
- Cilantro – 4 sprigs, finely chopped.
- Peanuts – 1 tbsp., roasted and halved.
- Salt to taste.
Tempering
- Oil -1 tsp.
- Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp.
- Asafoetida – pinch
- Green chilie – 1 small , deseeded and finely chopped.
Method
- Heat oil to medium, add asafoetida.
- Add mustard let crackle, add green chillie cook for a minute and turn off heat.
In a large bowl add cabbage, green gram, coconut, peanut, cilantro, salt. lemon juice and tempered content, mix them
