Spaghetti Meat Sauce
In a large non reactive skillet over medium heat saute:
- 1 diced onion in ¼ cup olive oil
Cook until the onion is soft and smells sweet
- 1 lb of uncooked hamburger
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic salt
Cook on med heat until the water cooks off and it begins to sizzle.
- 1 Tbs oregano
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (only if you like a little spice in your life!)
Cook for 3 more min.
- One recipe of Red Sauce
If you're following the "5 Week Menu" you just made a double recipe of this sauce. Use half of it for this spaghetti sauce.
While it cooks (or reheats if you made it earlier in the week), prepare the spaghetti noodles.
Top with real grated parmesan cheese…not the green container stuff… that’s mostly salt and a little bit of really dried out cheese!Print This Post
