Serve this sauce with Fenugreek Rice.

Raita (yogurt with vegetables)

Ingredients

Raita with Methi Bhaath

Raita with Methi Bhaath

  • Plain yogurt- 2 cups
  • Cucumber – 1/2
  • Onion – 1 small
  • Tomatoes- 3
  • Cilantro- handful
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chili- 1 ( optional)

Procedure

Finely chop onion, cucumber, cilantro and tomatoes.

Place in a large bowl and add salt, yogurt and a slit chili.

Mix the ingredients and set aside for 15 minutes.

Tip:

If you do not want Raita to be spicy don’t forget to remove the slit chilies before serving.
